As the 4th of July is right around the corner I have been reminiscing about an amazing trip Jake and I took a few years back (2017). When we were living in Seattle area, we had some of the most beautiful places within a 2 hour drive.
With very little planning we chose to head North East to Diablo Lake and Thundercreek. When we go to the rangers office we found that the locations we wanted to camp along the Thundercreek trail were taken. We took the option available and set off down the trail. I recommend more planning if you decide to score the good camping spots.
This place is STUNNING. The lake, the creek, the forest, and all the water falls. UHHH. Can I go back?
